Avatar - She protects the balance of life
In 2154, Earth has run out of natural resources, so the department has to get resources from other planet. Pandora is a planet full of natural resources, but it's not livable, so they can only get, if not steal, the resources from the planet directly. Na'vis are the inhabitant on the planet. To adapt to their life, the scientists have found out a way to create Na'vis but controlled by human with link. Jake Sully is a marine and has a deceased brother signed up for the program. Jake Sully has a similar DNA with his brother, so he can use his brother's avatar. Jake hasn't been trained, so Dr. Grace doesn't think he is the right candidate. Jake is paraplegic, so he is excited to get a second chance to walk again with his avatar.
When Jake first lands on Pandora with his avatar, he gets attacked by the wild animals. He gets lost in the forest but gets resecued by a Na'vi, Neytiri. Neytiri brings him to the clan, and some members want to kill him. Neytiri's mother wants Neytiri to teach Jake the way of their living, so he can be part of the group. In the following months, Jake has been learning from Neytiri on how to become one of them. They grow fond of one another and they become mates. Whenever the avatar sleeps, Jake wakes from his human body, so he can share the information with the department. One day, when Jake wakes up from avatar, a bulldozer is coming in his way. Jake tries to prevent the bulldozer from entering by destroy its cameras. The colonel, Quaritch knows it's Jake who is trying to sabotage their plan, so he forcefully unlink him and Dr. Grace from their avatars. Dr. Grace argues with Quaritch that the Hometree is the crucial to Na'vis and should be preserved. The colonel insists to continue the operation and gives them one hour to evacuate Na'vis to minimize the casualties. Jake admits to the Na'vis that he is indeed a spy sent by human, but he is on Na'vi's side now. Jake can't convince them to move after an hour, so they get unlinked again and detained by the department. Another scientist help them to get out of the imprisonment, so Jake and Grace can return to their avatars. Na'vis didn't trust him until he comes in with Toruk, a fierce dragon. Grace gets shot while fleeing with them. Jake wants Eywa to heal her, but it's already too late. Jake leads them to fight back the human. The wild animals also join the Na'vis in defending their hometown. With the animals' help, they manage to defend the army. Jake is also able to kill colonel. Most humans get expelled after the battle. In the end, it's revealed that Jake gets permanently transformed to his avatar.
