Descendants - Love is not weak or ridiculous, it's actually really amazing

Ben, the son of Belle and Best, is going to the be King, and he has decided his first proclamation is to give 4 children in the Isle of the Lost a chance to live and study in Auradon. Maleficent thinks that it is a good opportunity for their children to steal the wand and get all the villains out of the Isle, so the parents let their children go to Auradon.

Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay don't want to let their parents down, so they have to remind themselves the goal once in a while. Evie has a magic mirror, so she is able to get score high in the tests with its help. Impressed by her intelligence, Chad approaches Evie, but he just wants her to do his homework. Mal is a popular kid at school, because she knows how to make the girls' hairstyle look better with the help of spell. With her rising popularity, she is able to get along with other kids in a short time. Learning that only Ben's girlfriend can sit in the row next to Fairy Godmother, Mal decides to use spell to make Ben to fall in love with her so that she will be his girlfriend. At first, Mal just wants to take advantage from Ben, but she finds Ben irresistible after dating with him. She does not want Ben's fake love, so she has prepared an antidote to reverse his feeling. Indeed, Ben knew that he was under a love spell at the very beginning, so his feeling for Mal is totally genuine. Jay and Carlos are like partners in crime, they stick together all the time. They get into the school tourney team together and help them win the final match. They love playing game with those guys. All of them have never had such fun before, because they did not get to choose what to do or play back then. Though most of the students in school know that those 4 are not bad people, some of their parents still have concerns.

Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay have been living in he Isle of the Lost since they were born, so they were heavily influenced by their parents. They just wanted to make their parents happy, so they weren't doing things that they enjoy the most. Coming to Auradon is their new chapter of life, where they can start every fresh and do the things they want. Actually the parents do not love the kids, because they did not treat the children well. They have never learned to love someone until they came here and have found the one they truly love.
