Freaky - I've liked you since day one
Rumor has it that there is a Blissfield Butcher who kills students during the Homecoming week. Millie Kessler is a high school girl studying at Blissfield Valley High School. Her best friends are Nyla and Josh. Ever since the death of her father, her mother has started drinking more and more and may pass out sometimes. Millie is not the most popular kid in the school, and she is usually the victim of school bullying. She was unwilling to go to the Homecoming, but she decides to go with her friends after being convinced by them. She performs as a school mascot and gets teased by her classmates as usual during the football game. She isn't really in the mood of hanging out with her friends, so she waits for her mum to pick her up after the game. Her mum gets drunk again and forgets to pick her up. So, her sister, Char, calls Millie and tells her she is going to pick her up. However, the call ends abruptly, because Millie's phone runs out of battery. While Millie is waiting for her sister, there is a masked guy with a weapon coming for her. She is terrified, so she runs away and tries to find a place to hide. Unfortunately, she gets discovered by the killer and gets stabbed by his dagger. Millie's sister fails to take the killer down, and he runs away.
The very next morning, Millie wakes up acting differently. It is revealed that Millie and the Butcher have switched bodies. The Butcher, who is now in Millie's body, acts weirdly at school. As a killer, the Butcher takes this opportunity to kill more students. Millie, who is now in the Butcher's body, is so frightened, because the Butcher's mugshot is everywhere in the street. She doesn't know what to do, so she goes to the school to seek her best friends' help. Nyla and Josh are so scared of the Butcher, so they run away. However, when Millie tells them her favorite stuff, they believes he is indeed Millie. They want to know why this happen, so they try to decrypt the message on the dagger with the help of their Spanish teacher. The thing is Millie has to stab the Butcher with that dagger again within 24 hours in order to have her body switched back, or else it will be permanent.
Later that day, it's announced that the homecoming gets cancelled, but they still want to have party, so the Butcher suggests to move it to the old mill. At school, the Butcher has killed one of Millie's bully and her teacher. To stop him from killing more people, Millie and her friends try to catch him. During the conflict, Millie and her friends knock out the Butcher and her crush, Booker. The butcher is tied to the chair, and Josh will be the one to keep his eyes on him. Unbeknownst of what had happened, Millie explains everything to him and recite a poem she left in his locker before to make him believe it is true. Booker believes them, so he joins them to get the dagger.
Nyla gets in the police station and attempts to steal the dagger when Char is being tricked to go outside. In the car, Booker tells Millie that he is in love with her since day one. He cannot suppress his love towards Millie, so he kisses her even when she is still in the Butcher's body. The Butcher eventually escapes and he also wants the dagger back. Millie manages to attack him with the dagger before the midnight, so they have their body switched instantly. The story doesn't stop here. The butcher escapes from the ambulance and goes back to Millie's house for revenge. However, his plan goes south and gets stabbed by Millie instead.
Romance might not be the main theme of the movie, but the love story between Millie and Booker is kinda cute. Millie has always had a crush on Booker, but she doesn't even has the courage to talk to him, because of the fact that she gets bullied so often. However, this is unrequited love. Booker has also fallen head over heels with Millie since day one. Their love has always been mutual, but they didn't become a thing until Millie opened up about her love to him.
