High School Musical: The Musical: The Series S02E02 - I think it'd just mean a lot for me to have this one thing for myself

Nina leaves East High and starts her study at YAC. She wants to stretch herself rather than just doing what they are told to do so. She makes a twist while performing, but her teacher obviously doesn't like how she treated the whole thing. She feels isolated and lonely as all her friends are not by her side. Soon after Miss Jenn announced the new musical, there's an audition coming up. Ricky initially did not want to go to the audition, because he needed time to process Nina's departure. Ricky later realizes that doing musical is not only for Nina but also for himself. His performance in the auduition is not outstanding, but he still lands the role of Beast. Ashlyn, Kourtney and Gina perform together as Ashlyn has written a song just for the 3 of them. They all got in, with Ashlyn landing the role of Belle. Other than the previous cast members, there's a newcomer called Lily. She looks gorgeous and has a beautiful voice, but she did not get the leading role because she teased her classmates when they're performing on stage.

No one likes doing just what what we are being told. We are all different in our own ways. It would be more fun if we add our own flair to the performance.
