High School Musical: The Musical: The Series S02E09 - Sometimes the last, best thing we can do for someone we truly love is to let them go

It's spring break, and every cast member has got their own things to do. Ashlyn and EJ are staying together, because their parents are out of town. Carlos is enjoy the vacation in a resort, while Seb has to work in the farm. Big Red and Kourtney are working together in the pizza shop. Nini needs some quiet time to write her songs, so she locks herself up in her room. Miss Jenn and her castmates are agitated when North High posted a diss video about them slacking off during the spring break. To clap back at them, they decide to record a video to defend themselves. The song is written by Nini and Ashlyn, and choreographed by Gina.   Gina wants to visit her mom, but she gets stuck in the airport, where she meets Jack. Jack is a stranger to her, but they hit it off right away and share something deep. Jack knows he might never see Gina again, so he encourages her to open up to a new relationship. When Gina returns to Salt Lake, EJ shows up in the airport to accompany her back home. Ricky flies to Chicago to stay with his mom. He has been upset the whole time and he doesn't even want to leave his bed. While staying in his room, he starts writing his first song after the breakup, and the song is dedicated to his former lover.

It sucks when going through the breakup, and it's just a lot to handle after it. Sometimes, the best way is to let it go and pretend it never happened.
