After the musical, Gina and EJ are a thing now. EJ has gone to the Camp Shallow Lake for last the few summers, so he invites his friend to join him over this summer. Carlos, Ashlyn and Kourtney are joining, but their partners can't make it. Gina is excited to be in the camp, because it's the first summer where she has a boyfriend. Other than them, there're also some newcomers who are not wildcats joining the camp. EJ has been telling them there's a celebrity guest in the camp and it's revealed that the guest is Corbin Bleu. They're all excited about it, because they're wildcats. It's also announced that a documentary will be filmed when they're preparing for the musical, Frozen. It's worth noting that the show will be streamed on Disney Plus exclusively. When the camp director expects him to be the director of the show, he leaves. As a result, the camp director wants EJ to direct the show. Ricky hooks up with Lily, the girl from North East, after the musical. When he finds out she is the one who stole beast harness, he breaks up with her immediately. He shows up at the camp to join his friends over the summer. Nini starts working with Gina's brother, so she is not going to the camp.
