High School Musical: The Musical: The Series S03E02 - Act like you know what you're doing

EJ is asked to be the director, but he doesn't know how to set it straight. He only shares the secret with Gina, and he wants to wait till the very last minute to reveal it. The cast are all psyched about the audition, because they thought the show was going to be directed by Corbin Bleu. It's a letdown when EJ finally admits that he'll be be directing the show with the help of Val, another CIT. Gina sets out to be the lead in the show and she just wants to nail the audition, which makes Ashlyn and Kourtney think she's back to square one, Gina 1.0. Gina is also jealous of EJ being so close with Val. Gina wants to be friends with Ricky, rather than acting weird around him all the time. Ricky shares the room with Jet, a quiet kid who plays video game day and night at his bed. Ricky invites him to the audition, but he rejects. Jet is not allowed to stay in the room, so he has to go to the audition, and this is where he shines when he begins to sing. Carlos sneaks in the room trying to have a peek of the cast results.

Becoming friends with your former lover is hard. But if you do, they could be your best friends.
