High School Musical: The Musical: The Series S04E07 - There are no bad choices

It is revealed that Gina has been offered the lead role in Quinn's upcoming movie, but there's a catch - it will be shot in New Zealand. Accepting the role would mean Gina has to skip the next semester at East High and work in New Zealand with Mack for half a year. Not wanting to ruin everyone's opening night, Gina decides to save this news for later.

Ricky has always wanted to confess his love to Gina explicitly, but he is waiting for the right moment. Miss Jenn receives an offer to perform on Broadway, but she is unsure if she should take it because it would mean leaving her beloved students behind.

Kourtney receives offers from two universities. Initially, she planned to read them after the show, but she couldn't resist and opened them. It is revealed that both universities have offered her a place. Kourtney is now indecisive because she doesn't know what she wants most.

Carlos and Seb are back together and dating. Carlos wants to take Seb on a trip during Christmas, but Seb is hesitant. Seb reveals that he hasn't come out to his family yet, so he needs to do that before going on a trip with Carlos.

Antoine, the French kid, suddenly shows up in the musical uninvited. Big Red suspects that he might cause trouble for Ashlyn, so he pretends to still be dating Ashlyn. Maddox overhears the whole conversation and feels dejected, accidentally breaking the sound system.

During intermission, Ricky plans to tell Gina his true feelings, but he can't find her in the room. Gina's mom informs Ricky that she is not in the room and will be leaving for New Zealand tonight for the new movie. Ricky is shocked and lost because he doesn't know what to do without Gina by his side.
