Stargirl - Real or magic?

Stargirl - Real or magic?

Stargirl sounds magical, is she magic? She appears out of nowhere on the first day of the school. She dresses and behaves differently, and other students only know that she was homeschooled. Leo falls in love with her when he meets her for the first time. He is impressed by the fact that Stargirl knows his birthday and sings him a birthday song even though he had no idea who she was. The school's football team wins for the very first time in history after Stargirl cheers the team by singing in front of the whole school. She is like a lucky charm to the school, because she is just different from anyone else at school. Stargirl strikes Leo as a mysterious yet charming girl. Wanting to know more about her, Leo follows her after school and begins to make conversation with her. Ever since then, they hang out a lot after school and start dating. Everything goes well until the final football competition. This is the championship game between the school and the defending champion. Stargirl cheers with other cheerleaders for the school as usual, because she has been viewed as the lucky charm. During the match, a player from the opposing team gets hurt, but no one cares about him. Stargirl does not feel right, so she accompanies him to the hospital. Her action shocks the whole school, because she is helping the opposing team. Leo blame her for that and questions her why she cannot be just like anyone else.

The reason why Stargirl wants to go to school in the first place is making more friends, but she does not want to fit in. She acts differently, because that is who she is. She does what she wants to do and gives what she thinks people might want. Needless to say, the things she did sometimes went backfire. She might not know what everyone wants, but she is just trying to be herself. She has tried to blend in, but she clearly knows that she is not like anyone else. She cannot pretend to be someone else, because, deep down, she is always Stargirl, the girl who loves helping others.

Things are moving so fast that we do not have enough time to process before making a decision. We do the thing without thinking why we do it in the first place. Sometimes, it is better to slow things down, because you do not have to hurry everything. Step back and take a moment to reflect what keeps you doing the thing. It takes time for you to process when you are uncertain.

Leo used to be a boy that stands out the rest at school, but he changed after being bullied on his first day at school. He cared so much what others thought about him, so he has been trying to be like others. Eventually, he forgets who he was. It takes time to find out who you are, and no one else can help you answer this question, except you.

After the dance, Stargirl disappears out of the blue, and it seems nothing really happened after all. She is a magical girl that is too good to be true. Her magic trick is treating everyone with kind heart, even for strangers. She may be different because of her magic, but she is real.

Look at this bone. Now there is nothing more real than that. But that doesn't make it any less magical. You think things have to be real or magic, but the best things are both.
But as the memories became stories, and the stories became memories, even we began to wonder. She was just a girl, wasn't she? A girl just like anyone else.
