The Map of Tiny Perfect Things - There's these moments when all the randomness turns into something perfect

Mark has been stuck in the time loop and has the same day repeat again and again. The day is nothing special for him, but he tries to find something fun out of this boring time and boring place. He thought he was the only one in this time loop until he meets Margaret. He had a crush on Margaret when he first saw her, so he has been trying to impress her and ask her out. They have been hanging out since then, but she always has to leave early and in a hurry even though she has got like infinite time in this time loop. They want to work out the theory behind this time loop, but all these things just do not make any sense to them. Mark comes up with an idea that they might make their ways out if they have collected every tiny perfect thing in this town in the time loop. He knows Margaret is a space girl, so he has prepared a little surprise for her to make her feel happier. She is impressed by what he has done and finds out that he has been drawing a map of them. Mark finally has the courage to kiss her, but she pushes him away, because she just wants to be friends. Instead of hanging around with Margaret, Mark starts to think about other people other than Margaret or himself. He originally wants to get everyone out of this time loop by traveling somewhere far away to escape from the singularity, but it does not work. He knows he is still stuck in this time loop, but he wants to make something different by making others feel better.

He had focused too much on finding all the tiny perfect things that he ignored most other people in the neighborhood. He clearly knows that what he does will be undone tomorrow, but he still wants to cheer them up. Accidentally, Mark finally finds out why Margaret has to leave early everyday. She is not being shady, she just has to say her last goodbye to her mother. This day being repeated again and again in the time loop may be an ordinary day to Mark, but it is definitely a memorable day to Margaret that she does not want this day to be gone forever. Staying in this time loop is probably her biggest dream, because she gets to stay with her mother forever. The reason she does not want to leave the time loop is that she hasn't got over her mother's death. But now even her mother is not there for her, she is not alone. She has found someone that will accompany her for the rest of her life.

Life might not be perfect all the time, but life is definitely full of tiny perfect things. The pace of life is too fast that we don't have enough time to enjoy all the tiny yet perfect moments happen in our life. If we try to slow things down, we can easily find our own perfect moments.

Like everyone else is dreaming and you're the only one who's awake.
Mark, you don't understand, okay? I'm not like you. I don't want to seize the day. I just don't want the day to seize me.
Okay, then take her on a stealth date.  Just you two hanging out, no big deal, and then bit by bit, by imperceptible degrees, things get more and more romantic. And then bam! You kiss her.
Is this 'cause I won't kiss you? Why don't you just kiss one of them?
'Cause I don't want to.
She told me this story about how, when she was a little kid, she was always looking for the fourth dimension. It sounds cheesy, but when I met her, it was kind of like I found it. There was just more to everything than I'd ever seen before. And there was more to me, too. And there always had been. I just never... realized it until Margaret showed it to me.
What are you thinking about?
Just this boy. I messed that up.
It's never too late. I mean, unless you're dying of cancer, but not until then.
Death, it's so terrible. So terrible to lose someone. And if you don't face it, if you don't deal with it, then......you just end up losing yourself, too.
It's true that we're losing time every day, all the time, until one day it's all gone. But you're gaining it, too.  Every second, perfect moments, one after the other, until, by the end, you have your whole life. You have everything. And it costs you everything. But it's worth it. I promise that it's worth it.
The point is, is that I was wrong. We're the ones sleeping. Everyone else is awake, and it's just us dreaming. I know it's gonna hurt really bad... ...but I think that I have to wake up now. I think that this is the moment.
