Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist S02E02 - Some people wait a lifetime for a moment like this

After kissing Max, Zoey goes on another date with Max. They want their first time to be romantic and memorable, but things do not go as they expected. They have to switch places and rearrange another to avoid being interrupted by her family and friends. However, Max can't get his song out of his head even without distraction. This is quite annoying, especially when Zoey has the ability to listen others' heart songs. To make everything works, what Zoey does is going with the flow. It turns out that they are making a duet together the whole time in bed.

Zoey's mum seems cannot get over her husband's passing, because she still looking up the information of PSP. Indeed, she just wants to help someone out there. Emily's sister, Jenna, is in town to visit Emily. Jenna is a friendly and helpful sister, but she is too friendly that her sister finds her a bit annoying. Emily is exhausted for looking after her newborn all day, so she just want to have a break. With Maggie's advice, Jenna helps her taking care of her son, thereby allowing her to rest. With Mo's creativity and Max's technical skills, they are working together to build something innovative. To make it official, Max would like to sign a contract with Mo. Mo doesn't want to get into an agreement and whatnots, so he wants to blow the whole thing off. Max is upset by it, so he seeks help from Zoey. As Zoey is a manager in an IT company, she suggests them to try some trust building exercise out together. At the end of the day, they bares their souls about their insecurities. Mo reveals that he had ruined a friendship for partnership, because he thought he could do everything on his own. He doesn't distrust Max, but he doesn't trust himself. He is afraid that he would make the same mistake again when going into agreement, so he'd rather stay out of it. Max tries to talk him into doing this together and let him know that the contract is not restrictive at all. Mo agrees and signs the contract with him together, which means they are going into business.

Something bad happened with the product the company sells, so Zoey needs to take the lead to solve the problem as she is the boss now. Zoey asks Leif to debug the problem. Leif confesses to Zoey that he caused the trouble, because he wanted to release something big to the market as soon as possible to prove his leadership. Zoey tells him that she wasn't a good manager before, so he shouldn't beat himself up. Instead, Zoey just wants him to take a note of that and do not make the same mistake again. Zoey does not want the workplace gets too much fun for the guys, so he introduces several female colleagues to work with the guys.
