Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist S02E12 - You're willing to give up your spot for this person that you just met?

In the last therapy, the doctor told Zoey that she cannot accept the loss of her people. In this therapy, the doctor asks Zoey to take a trip down the memory lane to recount the day where she had the feeling of losing someone for the first time. The day is her first day at Sprqpoint. Back then, she still lives with her parents and her brother. She is so psyched for this day, because working in Sprqpoint has always been her dream. That's the reason why she dresses up for the day by wearing suit. Her dad also makes her lunch for this big day just like what he did for her first school day. Max is the second one she meets in Sprqpoint, but she does not have a good first impression on him. He is so mean that he mocks her for wearing suit on the first day. Much to everyone's surprises, it turns out that they are not officially hired by Sprqpoint at this moment. They are all gather here for the final stage of the interview, only two winners get to work there. Leif is the first one she meets in Sprqpoint and Zoey thinks he is a good coder, so she would like to team up with him, but he turns her down. This leaves Zoey no choice but to work with Max for the following competitions. In the first competition, Both Max and Zoey think their way is better than the other, so they don't really cooperate well. They end up being the 3rd place and get to proceed to the next stage. Both of them want the job and don't want to lose, so they decide it is time for them to work as a team rather than working individually. In the next competition, they are asked to crack the code. Unlike the previous round, Max and Zoe work together this time to find out the code by gathering the clues. Surprisingly, they finish as the first place. Zoey realizes Max is so good at singing and he is not that annoying that she used to think. Before competing for the very last round, they have a short yet deep conversation about their dream and family. Zoey receives a call from her father saying that her Mum has to do a surgery, but there's nothing to worry about. Zoey wants to go to the hospital, but she doesn't want to miss the opportunity of getting in Sprqpoint as well. Max tells her to go and suggests that she can do the coding while on her way to the hospital. Zoey hops on the Mo's car, and this is her first time meeting Mo.

In the last competition, they have to build a prototype. On her way to the hospital, the idea of a coffeemaker that can make coffee based on the user's heart rate comes to her mind, so she share her thought with Max, and he loves it, so they are making it happen. Before the surgery, Zoey overhears Maggie telling her husband that she loves him and wants him to live happily if she's gone. Max comes to the hospital and tells Zoey that she won her position. However, the story is not like that. Max and Leif are the ones who won the competition, but Max thinks Zoey deserves the role more than him, so he gives up the offer.

Your life is going to change forever after you have lost your significant other. When you almost lose someone, you will realize how fragile human could be. You loved one could be gone at any time so you better spend more quality time with them where they are still around you.

I always thought my parents were sort of... indestructible super humans... but... in that moment, seeing... the look on their faces, the love, and the fear in both their eyes... I realized they were just people... two people I could lose at any moment.
